Wilkes County, North Carolina, celebrated its 230th Birthday in 2008. The Save Our History committee producced a video documentary that captures historical landmarks & relates first person accounts of historical events as part of the Preserve America Community project.  The DVD documentaries are available in the Wilkes County Public Library, Wilkes Heritage Museum (located at 100 East Main St. in Wilkesboro NC 28697), & Wilkes Community College Library.
